It doesn’t belong on that list because you don’t understand what’s been going on in the film until the last 10 minutes of it. I want to watch it again to see how I would evaluate the first 7/8 of it, knowing what was revealed at the end.
It’s as if it wasn’t until the final 1/8 of Atlas that you learned Francisco wasn’t really a playboy. Or, that only that far along in The Scarlet Pimpernel that you had any clue that Sir Percy Blakeney wasn’t an effete fop.
