I am looking forward to recharging during the holiday this Thanksgiving.  Would anyone care to recommend a good book or painting?  It’s been a long time since I’ve slowed myself down long enough to contemplate a work of art, good art (literature or paintings) that depicts what ought to be.   Is there a current-day author and painter creating anything rational and inspirational?

Quent Cordair’s gallery in Napa is  a good place to start. cordair.com/

If you’ve not seen them, several artist have blogs where they discuss the evolution of specific art works. Well worth the time to scroll through.

The website you suggested is deeply satisfying. It contains many heroic, sublime and beautiful paintings and sculptures.

And I feel the same as every time, when I discover something inspiring and beautiful.

I think: “How could I have lived without this? But how wonderful it is that I know it now! And how grateful I am for it!”

       Thank you.
