One-line summary: A delightful musical experience.

A few years ago, browsing online, I chanced upon the pianist Stephanie Trick. She is a joyful young lady who plays fantastic ragtime and stride piano, two of my favorite piano styles. I joined her email list and recently learned that she was going to perform in Baltimore. My wife and I, and a couple of friends trotted right down to Little Italy in downtown Baltimore where we heard Stephanie and her husband, Paolo Alderighi, play a program of absolutely delightful music.

If you go here, you can learn where she will be playing in the future, and you too can hear a wonderful, happy kind of music. An example:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WWeGfQ-XqPI

Delightful, John. Thank you. As it turns out, they’re in our area presently. We may be able to see them on Wednesday.

One-line summary: Scott Joplin created happy music too

This recording reminds of Scott Joplin’s music, which I regularly play for my baby son.
