      Based on the strong recommendations of Ed Locke, Steven Plafker, and Richard Brooke made on HBL, I saw the movie Belle.

      Like them, I thought it was a very heroic movie that was well done. In content and theme, it reminded me of Amistad.

      My favorite line of the movie, which I believe captures its theme, is“what is right can never be impossible”—an inspiring and hopeful thought for all intellectual causes.
