In exploring the many YouTube videos that are now available without interruptions thanks to YouTube Premium, I came across this recent 32-lecture intro to Neuroscience:

It is amazing how much new knowledge has been added in the five decades since I last studied neuroscience in depth, the new integrations made possible by new knowledge and new analyses, and the discoveries of new applications thanks to them. It is also the best lecture course on anything that I have seen to date, in part because the visuals are not separated from the teacher; she literally moves in the space of the visuals, the better to emphasize and explain. (It does require some prior knowledge of chemistry, physics, and calculus, roughly at the level of one AP or freshman course in each. The diction is clear, so I recommend turning CC off, manually if you need to.)

      Re: Adam Reed’s post 104358 of 10/12/24

Thank you for this recommendation, Dr. Reed.  I watched a couple of episodes and I liked the overall presentation.  Very clear and easy to follow for an art history professor like me.
