On Saturday, WQXR played a 2014 production of “Showboat” performed by the San Francisco Opera. I have always loved the great Broadway musicals, and Showboat is one of my all time favorites. I have also always loved the singing of Mario Lanza. Here is a youtube video of him singing “You Are Love” from the musical. The art is also very beautiful.
