Last year Dr. Cargan recommended the documentary The Green Prince–a film detailing the experiences of Mosab Yousef, a son of a major Hamas leader who spied for the Israelis.
As Dr. Cargan noted one of the best elements of the documentary is the attention given to Yousef’s derivation ofhis own code of morality which turned him away from the ideas in his culture. That the independent first-handed intellect of Yousef developed in the context in which he was immersed is truly remarkable and a testament to his virtue.
Like Dr. Cargan, I recommend the movie.
